The collection is part of the brand’s Monki Originals line that consists of silhouettes and pieces closest to their design DNA: oversized, print, raw and unexpected. In short, a tried and true selection of hero pieces created by the inhouse design team.
Colour wise, the palette is made up of fresh whites, dusty hues and blues. Stripes have a strong presence in every shape and form from pinstripe to horizontal and even classic retro sport stripes, while the ever popular polka dot is given a spring lift.
The organic cotton denim is a focal point of the collection with an extended colour range including the introduction of a soft pastel pink to welcome in the new season. The collection’s raw nature is offset with accessories including a backpack, cap and sandals all in black satin for the ultimate Monki twist of girly meets street.
MONKI SS17 also featured matching pair of top and bottom. few options designed for the Monki lovers; denim, pastels and strong and bold strips from head to toe which i've tried to lock this look but it just didn't work! lol btw that sandal with bow is just cute to resist!
