China Treasure Restaurant, Sime Darby Convention Centre

GONG XI FA CHAI!

GONG XI! GONG XI! to all my lovely friends and dear followers as today's date, 28th Jan 2017 marked the Lunar Year festive in the Chinese calendar. annually, my company was having our own celebration where this time it was a #CNY2017 Annual Lunch at the JAKIM Halal-certified restaurant, China Treasure in Sime Darby Convention Centre. will try my best to get the copy of the certificate soon yar. thanks to my dear babe who suggested this place and here is my simple review and overall experience of the whole course.

 THE FOODS

Salmon fish & Crystal Pear Prosperity "Yee Sang"

claimed by my lady boss, this is very nice! as a non-chinese i couldn't really determine whats exactly the best yee sang but yup this is nice though its quite a bit too sweet to my tastebuds well after cleaned up the whole plate! haha

Double Boiled Black Chicken Soup With Dried Scallop and Ginseng Root

This is absolutely a new thing to me! quite scary to look at the dark chicken yet as a curious me, the meat taste just like a normal chicken meat but to be fair, it is tenderer. the whole soup is very very pleasant, not overpower by ajinomoto LOL and that scallop, i feel like i was eating a chicken's skin HAHA and it does look like a chicken's skin to me leyh!

Roasted Golden Sesame Seed Chicken Served With Vietnamese Dressing

OMG this is absolutely my favourite! ive never tasted this kinda cook before and honestly, i was so aroused over this while looking at the menu and yey, as expected this dish is real good! OK the chicken is crunchy outside but tender inside. the sesame seed is surprisingly go very well with chicken? then the sweet dressing is completing the dish perfectly! im so gonna find the recipe and try to cook this!

Steamed Live Grouper In Shanghai Style

One thing about Chinese cuisine, the food presentation always win! as for this dish, it tasted like a normal steamed fish with that soy sauce. the fish is undeniably so fresh yet i have no further comment on this.

Tiger Prawns With Assam Sauce Nyonya Style

OK another new dish to me because i usually enjoyed the prawns cook with sambal, tempoyak, gulai (coconut milk), buttered or deep fried but haven't yet with assam sauce before. surprisingly, the prawns go well with Assam and the sweet juice coming from the pineapple. gosh, we all agree that it will be more fun to eat this with plain rice! haha a Malay typical mind setting lol

Braised Black Moss Roll & Beancurd With Chinese Cabbage

Nothing special about this one yet im so curious on what is exactly the 'black moss roll' LOL haha still fail to distinguish yet the beancurd or also known as Tofu is just nice (yup everything about the foods is just so nice!) and some of it contain meat inside (if im not mistaken lol) and they are all well-blended with the oyster sauce. we were already too full at this moment HAHA hence, it must be effecting my review though!

Deep Fried CNY Money Bag

So cute! it looks like a 'sup bunjut' to us (Malay)! haha its a 1 mouthful size and im curious on whats inside. it depends, some put chicken minced and some meat HAHA and of course to those non-muslim they also put pork minched LOL and the taste is crispy and sweet. not overpower sweet, again it is just nice and yey if im not yet full i can have this like 5 or more but during this dining, i only ate 1 LOL so rugi to think that now!

Chilled Alyu Jelly and Longan With Lemongrass Lime Syrup

Very refreshing and perfect to close the whole course!

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

foods : 4.8/5 (everything are nice and yey HALAL!)

ambiance : 3/5 (quite pack. tables are too close with each other not convenient for a company occasion although we were like just 2 tables but still.. its better to book the private room besides this hall)

service: 4/5 (staffs are good and helpful but it just that you need to walk-in pay the deposit like 3 days before the booking date)

location : 4/5 (in Bukit Kiara, just besides the KLGCC. not much people during lunch hour so, less hassle and yey FREE parking is just too great!)

THE CNY FEAST

the big boss and the lengchai haha

the lady boss and the lenglui haha

My kind-hearted and sempoi boss. hehe i won the speaker for my lucky draw! yey!

We are a small and developing company, from me being the only girl and see, i got so many 'competitors' now HAHA but we are all very close and i'd say we love each other though. 4 years plus  and still counting with Benima is enjoyable! yup assuredly, we got ups and downs but i guess we managed to go through it as i've not yet thinking of leaving. i just gonna cherish each moment in here. thanks Mr Sim and thanks Ally :)

Note : Hey guys from China Treasure of Sime Darby Convention Centre, you may include me in you media loop for the next CNY 2018 and onwards food review and promotion yar! hehe xia xia

PETALS Eau de Parfum by Hatta Dolmat and 20% OFF Voucher

HATTA DOLMAT PARFUM

“My idea is to tell the world that how you smell is part of your glorious outfit, regardless the occasion.
I am blessed to have found partners that understood just that” Hatta Dolmat, Fashion Designer

Talking about perfume, i must say that im quite fussy. admittedly, im no a collector since i only owned few designer perfumes as shared in this blog. but hey, im a very selective one! haha since spending few hundred for a tiny little thing is really a serious matter to me.

Nah, Malaysia 1st Fashion Fragrance has finally out in the market. designed and infused by a well-known fashion designer, Hatta Dolmat himself. made from imported ingredients from Switzerland, and locally blended and manufactured here in Malaysia by a GMP certified manufacturer. Approved by the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia and this Muslim-friendly perfume is definitely made for Muslim Global Industry.

INSPIRATION

Basically, this fragrance is unisex but Petals Eau de Parfum is specifically made for the ladies whom are confident and charismatic, yet charming. Based on the founder, they introduced to her go-getter spirit by the sparkling notes from Pomegranate, Peach & Yuzu. Mandarin rounds up the opening notes with a fruity zest.

A rush of floral notes from the Peony, Magnolia, Jasmine and Honeysuckle forms the heart note of this gorgeous scent. Before making way for the light, warm and seductive whiffs of Vanilla, Amber, Patchouli and Musk, ingredients to create that ravishing lasting impression.

MY VERDICT

The smell is undeniably so feminine though it claimed to be an unisex fragrant but i'd suggest the guy go for the "Beetle Pour Homme By Hatta Dolmat" instead of this. personally, it smells deliciously sweet and fruity. Having Vanilla and Musk as one of the ingredients always resulted this kinda smell; sweet and definitely seductive!

OK i don't know if you ever try on the Britney Spears's collection which is very strong and very sweet but this one, a little bit less which is so much better because i don't fancy a candy kinda perfume. this Petals Eau de Parfum is lighter and designed for a working woman whos having a busy routine on a day.

PETALS X Sizzling Suzai " PETALS20SUZAI "

Selling price is only RM65 (35ml) but you can enjoy the 20% OFF by inserting the voucher code "PETALS20SUZAI" which ONLY works for the Petals Eau de Parfum. yup, must be online purchase via the web www.mitiiga.com/products VALID until 15th February 2017. T&C applied.

We Have Found Your Match! #BlindDate

$

Truthfully, Ive never trust an online match-making or such an arrangement for two people who has not previously met by a stranger. it sounds bizarre and it must be so awkward! lol there is no specific reason on why i have that silly thought in my mind but i always believe that a meeting of two people should be happened in a natural way eventhough i know that some couple met through this process, well it just me and my complicated mind huhu...

Then, came a day when Datesmith approached me to experience their offline-dating service. without hesitation, i replied 'Yes' since i'm always looking forward to try out 'new' things and 'challenge' myself especially on the thing that i dislike! haha hence, a meet up between me and the Datesmith agent being made in a quite cafe in Bangsar. Basically, this meet up is to get to know me more and also my expectations of the matched-guy who soon probably gonna be my boyfriend or perhaps, a potential husband? lol

Nah, this part is so interesting! haha because i was given a form that loaded with the questions on the characteristics of that matched-guy that im looking for lol and guess what i didn't expected that it would be as detailed as

"Height?"
"Weight?"
"Physical look? as in Slim, Athletic, Masculine and etc"
"Smoker?"
"Mixed blood?"
"Religion?"
and if i tick yes to "Chinese" or any non-muslim religion means that im expecting him to convert right? then next question is if he willing to convert to Islam, does he needs to practice Islam religiously or stick to his old life and belief? Nah, this question is my favourite! haha because the answer is definitely YES, he needs to learn Islam and adopt to Muslim's lifestyle by stop practicing the prohibited deeds such as drinking and etc. :)

Another, detailing that i was so impressed during this whole ice-breaking is the "Turn On and Turn Off" points. so again without hesitation, i listed out what are mine

Turn ON
Responsible, Ready to commit, Caring, Traveler

Turn OFF
Drink, Sleeping with any girls LOL

I strictly highlighted that the "Turn OFF" points are totally a turn off for me. fyi theres no such thing as 'casual drinker' to me. the Haram things mean Haram, we are not allowed to have an alcoholic drink even for a tiny little drop, yup even in our foods :)

Cut it short, after few weeks which i guess it took about more than 1 month to find that suitable 'candidate' as to match my 'ridiculous' characteristics, i received a call from the agent saying "Hey Suzai, We Have Found Your Match!" i was quite surprised as they finally found one because i thought that they wouldn't gonna find at all! haha so, the "blind date" being arranged between me, the agent as the acquaintance and the matched-guy.

On the present day, i drove to a shopping mall in KL to meet him. the agent has made a booking for us at a cosy restaurant which i don't think i'd like to name it. OK honestly, i was late for 18 minutes since the date was set to be at 1pm but i reached at 1:18pm and the guy already left! OMG im sorry to say that he is not gentleman at all because it was not even passed 30 minutes though. but i was not mad, i was just surprised and im totally admitting that it was my mistake and yey i predict that this guy must be a really punctual person. hey im sorry, im not his type too! HAHAHA so, the first impression on both sides already fail LOL hahaha

It didn't end there as i quickly made a call to the agent and thankfully, that guy is still around and he agrees to comeback and meeting me! HAHA OMG i don't really know what i felt at that particular moment, should i mad because he left? or should i be ashamed because i was late? or should i be nervous that finally we gonna meet? gosh to be honest, i felt like c'mon just finish this thing...

So, he showed up! OK first glance, he is slim, smart (wearing white shirt and jeans), fairly a nice and good looking guy and he smiled. HAHA and of course the first word spilled from my mouth is "Sorry i was late" LOL he seemed OK with it, he claimed that he just felt so shamed sitting alone, so he decided to wait outside instead. Oh OK good.. HAHA so, he sat in front of me and we both having juices and we started talking. we talked a lot on work, family and found out that we share the same interest in fashion. fyi im easy being around new people because my job is requiring me to meet new people almost everyday! so, awkward is not in my dictionary though HAHA then, after about 30 minutes only i realized he is wearing earrings, a tiny diamond one.

OH OK................................. bye.........................

Ops, not yet "Bye" as we both agree to go for a lighter meal and continuing our conversation but it was about 3:30pm, i didn't have a choice as i need to perform my solat. i just simply told him that please give me like 20 minutes but to my surprise, he followed me to the surau. HAHA sorry im not trying to be judgmental but im impressed as even some of my friends refusing to follow me to the surau lol see see, he is indeed a GOOD and NICE guy :)

So, we ended up in a cafe and kept on getting to know each other. well, don't really remember the input but in the middle of the conversation, he excused himself to go out and smoke. HAHA hey, im seriously OK with it and after like 20 minutes, he came back and again, we changed to another spot and this time, the discussion is more serious.

He talked about his family and his lifestyle in which i was disappointed to know that there is alcoholic drink in his home's refrigerator and that is a totally common situation to them. well, TO BE HONEST, im not surprised that he drinks but remember that it is my TURN OFF point right?? then, he continued that he loves dogs and he got dog as his pet. No im not making faces but i predict that he is actually trying to see my reaction and my respond towards his confession HAHA errr..... it was seriously hard to stay calm when you know that they are clearly wrong. hmmmm...

Again, i'd say he is a nice guy when he accompanying me to the lift in searching for my parking basement. then, when the lift about to arrive, he suddenly asked for my phone number, he goes like

Matched-Guy : "Eh should i get your number? no right?"
Me : "Oh sure, why not?"

HAHA he looked extremely surprise because he thought that after that 'different-belief-and-lifestyle' confession, i was just gonna let this thing go. hmmm.. im this type of person who really hard to reject things and yey, making network is part of my life (blogging thingy!)

OK Lets just conclude the whole thing. firstly, i know that "he is NOT the one" once he left at the beginning and once he walked into the restaurant and sat in front of me and once i saw the earrings! HAHA but hey, i love making friend and my circle of friends is seriously wide and 'variety' HAHA so this urban culture is not a new thing to me though.

But the key point of this whole meeting is Datesmith trying to find a soulmate for both of us right? we know it won't work, so whats the purpose of being friend? HAHA after the meeting, the agent asked me whether i'd like to meet him again or not? and my answer is YES since again, i just don't know how to say "No" but i guess, his answer is NO! HAHA because he never contact me after this meeting Alhamdulillah..thank God!

Lastly, just a friendly reminder to the Datesmith please be more sensitive towards the "Turn Off and Turn ON" points as i guess they are playing the major role of the whole determination. overall, i love the system of detailing on each side's personality before setting up the meeting but eventually, it depends on fate! Kalau memang jodoh tak ke mana right? Period :)

H&M Calls For A Global Movement To Collect Used Clothes With Its New “Bring It” Campaign

H&M first launched its worldwide Garment Collecting initiative in 2013 and since then the company has collected over 40,000 tonnes of clothing. Today, customers can bring any unwanted garments and textiles from any brand and in any condition to any H&M store all year around. The goal is to increase the amount of garments collected every year to reach a total collected volume of 25,000 tonnes per year by 2020.

A brand new film directed by Chrystal Moselle will kick-off the next Garment Collecting campaign, “Bring it”, which will debut globally on 26 January at hm.com. The campaign raises awareness on the importance of garment recycling. H&M wants to close the loop on fashion by giving customers an easy solution to hand in unwanted garments so they can be reused or recycled through H&M’s garment collecting initiative.

By doing so, less garments go to landfills. The “Bring It” film tells the journey that unwanted garments go on after they have been collected in store. Through inspiring stories the film illustrates how the lifespan of a garment can be increased to keep it in the loop for as long as possible.

See link for the video| https://youtu.be/7i4JSzB8VlU

In 2014, H&M also introduced its first Close the Loop collection made with recycled textile fibers - an important step in closing the loop for fashion. To provide fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way, H&M’s ambition is to work towards a change in the way fashion is made and enjoyed today.

Close the Loop is a central commitment of H&M’s work towards a sustainable fashion future. The aim is to create a closed loop for textiles, so that unwanted clothes can be reused and recycled to create fresh textile fibers for new products. In turn, this will help to save natural resources and ensure that zero garments go to landfill. The Garment Collecting Initiative is available in all H&M stores in all markets.

SINOPSIS

Tingkah-laku Lia semakin berubah.

Siapakah Cik Cempaka sebenarnya?

Ellie Saab SS17 #ParisCoutureWeek #SS17

Sparkling and lavishly glamorous are Ellie Saab's forever signature but based on the Olivia Palermo's defines that this collection is actually refreshingly free from Saab's usual heavy embellishment.

"This season Saab presented a flattering, streamlined shape that highlighted the true natural waist, and often accented such looks with a bejeweled belt. This effective choice made legs look endless and served to recall the silhouette of his 1950s starlet muse. We especially loved the glamorous sunglasses and headbands.  Also appreciated was the graceful movement of fabrics that seemed to influence each look. Even when showing pants, they were paired with a feather-trimmed cape or a silky train, for example."Olivia Palermo

To my opinion, im so much aroused over the semi-sheer fabrics used, its so seductive and inviting. besides, the detailing of the beading which they are strategically and artistically being placed at certain area as to emphasize the women's silhouette. too perfect! i died. lol

5) Sos ikan (Sos ni lah katanya rahsia terbesar nak masak 3 rasa!)
6) Minyak Bijan (Sy mmg suka pakai minyak bijan dalam masakan err rasa cam tambah rasa!)

Bahan-Bahan B (CW=clockwise)
1) Serai
2) Cili padi
3) Halia
4) Bawang putih
5) Timun
6) Daun limau purut
7) Tomato
8) Bawang Besar (saya pakai bawang bombay sebab tu je yang ado kat umah haha)

OK semua tu potong je dadu ke serong ke janji kecik-kecik! haha better DADU lah ye. bila buat ni baru sy tau lah beza dengan masak Masam-Manis ialah masakan 3 rasa ni syarat dia mesti ada Serai & Daun Limau Purut. so, kalau 2 benda ni takde kira masakan korang jadi Masam-Manis lah jadi nya HAHAHA

Then, IKAN SIAKAP tu sila lumur dengan kunyit, garam cam biasa dan tambah TEPUNG JAGUNG. har ni beza sikit sebab dia nak garing sungguh lah ikan tu, so kalau deep fried mesti lagi daebak! maklumlah masak kat umah ni kita konsep berjimat minyak ye.

HAHA maklumlah harga minyak pon dah naik, bukan takat minyak masak, minyak kereta tu har RM2.30 seliter wei geramnya hakuh! ingat duit gaji memang untuk isi minyak je ke? RM50 untuk kete comel i si Myvi Baby tu pon tak full tank wei, melampau betol!! eh?? OK please jangan ckp pasal bende bende gini nanti i marah ikan pon hangus! HAHAHA

OK ini adalah sos ikan cap sos sotong! i pon tak paham! HAHA

Last step, masak lah kuah 3 rasa tu, masukkan je lah semua! HAHA OK to be honest saya masukkan sesuka hati je tapi untuk yang memang jenis blur tahap dewa, nah the guideline

1) Minyak - Bawang-bawang - Cili padi - Halia - Serai = kacau-kacau

2) Segala Sos (sos pun ikot sesedap rasa) = kacau-kacau
*masukkan garam lepas dah masuk sos kicap bagai, sebab baru boleh adjust*

3) Timun - Tomato - Daun limau purut = kacau-kacau
*masukkan bahan-bahan mudah lembik ni hanya selepas dah capai rasa yang anda mahukan ye sebab takmo lama-lama nanti dorang lembik HAHA sebab sy pon tersalah tercepat masuk!*

5) Jamulah bakal mak mentua mana tahu berjaya jadi menantu pilihan!

6) LOL k bye!

Anyeong haseyo :)

Yey im gonna ramble a bit about my latest beauty haul! honestly, i received this ALTHEAbox on last few months yet i kept on pending on the sharing. so sorry gals as i always need a longer times when it comes about makeup and skincare since im more comfortable to wear it for quite sometimes before jumping onto the full review. mianhae yo.

OK lets do the unboxing!

All items are available on ALTHEA (based on stock availability ok!)

Elizavecca Skin Liar Primer - RM23
Nella Aura Highlighter 2.5g (Pink Pearl) - RM28
3CE Pink Rumour Dangerous Matte Lip Color (Tell The Truth) - RM63
The Style 4D Mascara - RM16
Etude House PLAY 101 Stick Contour Duo - RM48

3CE Pink Rumour Dangerous Matte Lip Color (Tell The Truth) - RM63

honestly, im so much drooling over the packaging, 3CE collection always look so cool! Yep im so much anticipated over getting and trying this lippie. i chose this sweet pink since i dont have any lipsticks in this shade before. its powdery finish, oil-free look and the texture its truly matte! you even need to glide some lips balm beforehand (as advised by dearest friends) so that it easier to glide the lippie and perhaps nicer finishing. my only problem is when i've done eating, i wanna reapply but it became too dry already, so it hard to mix with the previous one. overall, OK lah but i don't think i wanna get the other shade lol

Nella Aura Highlighter 2.5g (Pink Pearl) - RM28

This is the 'funniest' item among all! haha i didnt expect that it would be this tiny though. dont know if i was the one who fail to find the size of packaging beforehand? when i got it, it is like my thumbnail's size which honestly, it hurts me. lol. moreover, the attached sponge doesn't really work well when the highlighter fail to come out from the bottle although ive removed the cover inside it.

This is the pinkish shade which another colour available is silver. i chose pink since im thinking it will be well-blended with my blusher and doesn't really overpowering. HOWEVER, i love the glowing effect of the powder which i finally applied it just using my finger tips (yup instead of the sponge!) coz the fact that i feel it wasted on the sponge lol

Etude House PLAY 101 Stick Contour Duo - RM48

I bet lot of you has familiar with this new not-so-new invention by Etude house right? hence, im so eager to give it a try too. I dont have the option to choose as this is the only shade that they provided during my purchase. perhaps you may check the web now as i know etude house are giving another options though. said to be convenient as 1 side is for contouring and another side is a highlighter. 2 in 1, who doesn't love that? anyhow, the contour is not work on me lah as the shade is similar with my skin colour though! but hey, the highlighter works well as my brow enhancer, haha i just love that part! based on the etude web they have 2 options, hmmm they seriously need to come out with more shades though Asian's skin tones are not all pale like Korea LOL

7 Sebab The Wedding Heritage ialah Banglo Kahwin No.1 di Malaysia

$
0
0

"Perbezaan kahwin di dewan dan di TWH, pengurusan TWH akan memberikan lebih masa lebih-lebih lagi selepas majlis untuk keluarga pengantin membungkus makanan dan merehatkan diri selama 2-3 jam. Jadi bagi tetamu yang terlewat masih boleh berjumpa pengantin dan seperti berada di rumah mereka sendiri." The Wedding Heritage (TWH)

The Wedding Heritage berpegang pada konsep "Cuci Tangan" dimana pada era moden ini, para bakal pengantin mencari sebuah venue yang lengkap segalanya; ruang majlis yang besar dan selesa, buffet katering, pelamin serta kelengkapan perkahwinan dan all the basic needs for a wedding ceremony! jadi masalah selesai kerana anda tidak perlu lagi untuk mencari segala servis ini di butik-butik pengantin lain kerana semuanya sudah pun ada disediakan oleh pihak The Wedding Heritage.

TWH menawarkan pakej lengkap perkahwinan (ALL In Package) di banglo mewah pada harga yang sangat mampu milik bermula hanya RM9,500 sahaja dan dengan deposit bayaran serendah RM2,500 untuk penempahan. Setelah 2 tahun beroperasi, kini TWH telah mempunyai 2 cawangan: Taman Sri Ukay, Ampang dan Seksyen 6, Kota Damansara. Jadi 7 sebab mengapa TWH  ialah Banglo Kahwin No.1 di Malaysia

Jadi apa tunggu lagi?!
